Alice In Wonderland Musical

Hey, So I wrote this awhile ago about my school's musical that I was involved in. I've edited because this is the internet, privacy etc. (---- refers to details I feel are private). At the end I did have the information about the tickets, but the musical is now over and irrelevant. It got published a few places around the community. :) -Red + Black Rockstar

‘Curiouser and Curiouser’

--------- High School is full steam ahead on its much anticipated school musical. Taking on the weird, bizarre and magical, Lewis Carroll story, Alice in Wonderland. With the crazy storyline and kooky characters, it is sure to entertain all ages.

Let us take you on a journey down the rabbit hole, through the garden, past the tea party and in a dark kingdom of hearts.

The lead up to the show has been action packed, with rehearsals, practices and training sessions several times a week, devoting most of our time including on weekends. Having five lessons a week in our school curriculum,, ECA practices, rehearsals at Barossa Arts and Convention Centre and recording a journal of progress, we are sure to see our hard work executed onstage. Auditions were fulfilled late last year, the cast was chosen and announced and since we have been working solidly to achieve a high standard.

Being in ‘Alice’ has given the students the chance to undertake dance and musical theatre, subjects not part of our school curriculum. The musical is offered to all students from Year 9 to 11 and takes place every second year. At first being in a class with older students can be intimidating and daunting, but everyone finds their place and makes others feel welcome.

Director, Choreographer, Music Director, Producer and all the students will bring Alice in Wonderland to life this winter.
